Keenly aware of the dwindling numbers of bees throughout the world and their importance in pollinating many of our food sources such as fruit, vegetables and nuts, Yuggera man Jahmayne Coolwell and Caleb Cardno decided to create a beekeeping business called Territory Bees.
Territory Bees provides commercial pollination services to farmers, along with honey, equipment, hives and beekeeping training across the Northern Territory.
Exclusively for IIF members, invest in a beehive to conduct commercial pollination services on a watermelon farm in the Northern Territory.
The beekeeper manages the process and you profit.
The nucleus bee colonies include new hive box assemblies, frames of brood and eggs, resources (honey and pollen), a new queen and approximately 10,000 bees.
The bees will be fed on sugar syrup and a bee superfood called Ultrabee to assist in their establishment and growth into a thriving and strong colony ready for the 2023 pollination season.
The 2023 pollination season will generate approximately $600 of income per hive.

The resulting profit is split between the farmer and investor.
That's a solid potential margin to investors of 20%.
IIF is share farming for the digital age. You bring the capital, and a farmer brings the expertise.
Farmers grow the items as they always have and when it is harvested and sold, the resulting profit is shared between the farmer and investor.
The typical growing period is 3 to 12 months.
Backing our farmers couldn’t be easier.

IIF enables anyone to invest in agriculture without owning a farm.
Using the IIF app, members can peruse farmers and their opportunities and buy real food and fibre assets early in the growing cycle.
For instance, members can build a diversified farm containing 100 dozen oysters, 2 cows, 5 beehives and 30 apple trees.
If you like the idea of supporting our farmers – and making money whilst you do it – IIF is for you.
